On Monday evening, a delegation from the Gorran Movement attended an official ceremony organized by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Erbil to mark the anniversary of German Unity Day.

The delegation, comprising Political Council members Dler Abdulkhaliq and Rovan Sarwat, was received by the German Ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Daniel Kroeber, and the German Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, Dr. Christian Olfke. During the event, the delegation extended their formal congratulations to the friendly people of Germany on the occasion of their National Day through the Ambassador and the Consul General.

The Gorran delegation’s participation underscores the movement's continued commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations and building lasting bridges of communication with international missions in the Kurdistan Region. Germany remains a strategic partner for the Kurdistan Region, having played a prominent role in recent years in supporting regional stability, fostering economic development, and providing assistance to the Peshmerga forces.
