On Wednesday evening, the Gorran Movement extended its congratulations to the government and people of China on the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, during a formal ceremony in Erbil attended by the Chinese Consul General to the Kurdistan Region.

Representing the movement at the event held at the Rotana Hotel, Dler Abdulkhaliq, a member of the Gorran Political Council, officially conveyed greetings to Liu Jun, the Chinese Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, wishing the Chinese nation continued progress, enduring peace, and development.

Marking the conclusion of the Consul General's diplomatic tenure in Erbil, Abdulkhaliq also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to Liu Jun for his dedicated service. He highly commended the outgoing diplomat's vital role in strengthening bilateral ties and fostering mutual cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and the People's Republic of China.
