Demonstrators in the capital Baghdad once again entered the Iraqi parliament and opposed the candidacy of Mohammed Shayae Sudani.

On Saturday, demonstrators entered the Iraqi parliament after crossing concrete barriers in the green zone.

 

Demonstrators opposed to the candidacy of Mohammed Shayae Sudani., a candidate for the post of prime minister of Iraq from Framework coordination, they called on Sudani to withdraw from his candidacy.

 

Thousands of demonstrators went to the streets in the capital Baghdad this morning and they closed the offices of Nuri al-Maliki, head of the State of Law Coalition, and Ammar Al-Hakim, head of the Hikma movement in Baghdad.

 

 

The commander of the armed forces issued a message about the Baghdad protests, after he called on the security forces to protect the demonstrators, insisting that continued political tensions would increase violence.

Mustafa Kadhimi, commander of the armed forces, called on the security forces to protect the demonstrators.
