The US ambassador to Iraq says the United States has agreed to withdraw its troops from Iraq by 2025 and will take new measures to ease tensions in the region.
"We have agreed with the Iraqi government to withdraw US troops next year," US Ambassador to Iraq Alina Romanowski said.
"My mission in Iraq will soon end and I will leave the Iraqis," she said.
On the financial issues in general and the financial file in particular, the US ambassador pointed out that in order to reform the economy and finance and improve the banking sector, Iraqi banks have made progress and are reliable.
