The Vice President of the Kurdistan Region received the Consul General of China in the Kurdistan in Erbil and discussed bilateral relations, parliamentary elections and several other issues.


  Mustafa Sayed Qadir received Chinese Consul General in the Kurdistan Region Liu Jun in Erbil on Wednesday and exchanged views on the political and security situation، economic development، industrial and trade development، and the expansion and development of relations between the two countries، benefiting from China's advanced experience.

 The Vice President hoped that the Kurdistan Region would be part of the strategic trade project (FAO Port) that China is working on as part of its economic initiative.

  

 The meeting emphasized the need to hold clean and free elections, with the aim of change and the success of the political and democratic process in the Kurdistan Region.

  

 Finally, the Vice President praised the Chinese projects in the field of capacity building, higher education and several other sectors.
