More than 4,300 students have been deprived of education due to Turkish attacks in West Kurdistan, the Education Board announced.
More than 4,300 students have been deprived of education as a result of the Turkish army's attacks in the canton of Jazira, the Education Board of the Eastern and Northern Syrian Autonomous Regions said in a statement.
There are 8,500 students in the Zargan area north of Tel Tamr, but about 2,800 of them have been excluded from school due to the fighting.
They said the Turkish army has turned 29 schools into military bases, targeted five and destroyed four.
According to statistics, there are about 900,000 students in the region who will start school in 4,100 schools this year
