After 10 years of service, the Mayor of Penjwen district resigned and the director of Nalparez district was appointed in his place.

  

 Zana Rahman resigned from his post after 10 years as the governor of Penjwen district on behalf of the Gorran Movement.

  


 Zana Rahman said that the administration of Penjwen is a difficult task and tried to serve the residents of Penjwen, but the Kurdistan Regional Government was negligent and did not implement the demands on the pretext of financial crisis.

  

 He said: "He has not betrayed his post and the people of Penjwen. He has worked in two directions during these 10 years and has constantly tried to implement service projects.

  

 Last year, when the citizens of Penjwen held a demonstration to provide continuous electricity to their district, Zana Rahman, the governor of Penjwen resigned.
