A spokesman for the Ministry of Health announced the first case of death with Hemorrhagic Fevers in the Kurdistan Region.

A 37-year-old man died today after suffering from bleeding, said Dr. Aso Hawezi, the spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Government's ministry of health. 

He also pointed out that the young man, from  Khalifan district in Soran, died after arriving to the hospital and staying for treatment, and his health was deteriorated due to the deadly disease. 

"The case was recorded as the first case of death from bleeding in the Kurdistan Region," he said.

He called on citizens to abide by self-protection guidelines for not being infected with hemorrhaging.
